Diane K. M. Cox Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Library Science
Ms. Cox Utilizes her Expertise to Help Young Students Effectively Maneuver through the School Library

OMAHA, NE, July 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane K. M. Cox, School Librarian for Omaha Public Schools, Field Club Elementary School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in library science.

With more than 15 years of professional experience and 36 years of teaching, Ms. Cox is responsible for maintaining and managing the school library, storytelling, and teaching library skills and literacy. This includes educating students on using computer catalogs and databases, reference books, indexes to periodicals, and audiovisual materials. She is also instrumental in helping them to discern the various kinds of books in the facility, such as fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and biography.

Ms. Cox received a Master of Science in secondary education in 1995 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a member of the National Storytelling Network, Phi Delta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi and Kappa Kappa Iota.
