Her love of computer technology persuaded her to begin a career in administrative services.

Ms. McGwier has extensive experience in working on computers, printers and scanners, mastering computer software applications like Microsoft Office, operating systems such as Windows XP and Vista. Her greatest accomplishment to date was designing an access database to help the office run more efficiently and attributes her success to her ability to overcome challenges.

Completing a Microsoft Office Certification is one of Ms. McGwier's career goals, as is earning her bachelor and master's degree in psychology to start a private practice. She prides herself in keeping up on modern technology by doing research and taking part in refresher courses in her subject area. Ms. McGwier is currently pursuing an associate's degree in administrative office technology, is on the Scholar's List, is in the International Honor Society, is on the President's List, is in the National Technical Honor Society, and is a recipient of the Silver Star Award from the Girl Scouts of America.
